A wedding at Domaine Le Castelet is more than just a ceremony; it is a truly getaway, a festive, shared and relaxing experience for you and your loved ones. Every day you spend here is designed to ensure you enjoy this unique experience to the full, free from stress and in an exceptional setting. To help you plan picture it, here’s an example of the planning for these few days of dream weddings in our wedding venue.

Day 0 (optional) – Arrival of the Bride and Groom, Close Family and Friends

For those who want to get a head start, it’s possible to stay at the Domaine a few days before the festivities to enjoy a real moment of peace before the excitement begins. This allows you to finalize a few small details, but also offers the perfect opportunity to rest, (re)discover and savour the calm of Domaine Le Castelet’s lush setting, and share simple, precious moments with your loved ones.

Day 1 – Guests Arrive and Set-Up

Maybe you arrived the day before with your closest guests to enjoy a calm moment, but today the Domaine starts to come alive. Guests arrive gradually, discover the property, settle into their accommodation, and get comfortable. This arrival day is perfect to create a friendly atmosphere, without stress or pressure.

Welcome to Domaine Le Castelet! It’s time to unpack, enjoy the setting, take your time… and feel that this long-awaited special wedding weekend is finally starting.

Now is also a good time to finalize any last-minute details, such as putting up wedding decorations, doing last-minute shopping, checking the weekend schedule, talking to vendors, or simply relaxing. If you feel the need, this is also the perfect day to rehearse your symbolic ceremony.

When evening comes, it’s time to mingle.  A welcome or get-together dinner is a great way to bring everyone together for an informal, happy gathering. Imagine a barbecue in the garden, a sumptuous appetizer buffet, or a sharing of pizzas around long tables. Or perhaps a wine tasting accompanied by charcuterie, cheese, and local wines to be savored in the moment

And for those who want to extend the evening, why not head into the lovely town of Castres for a drink or a dinner with friends? This first night is often a treasured memory: it marks the gentle beginning of the celebrations, in a warm and relaxed setting.

Day 2 – The D-Day

Here we are! The D-Day, long-awaited moment has finally arrived. The day begins gently, with an atmosphere that is both exciting and serene. As the service providers settle in and final details are put in place, you begin your preparations, surrounded by loved ones in a calm, caring atmosphere.

It’s time for hairstyling, outfit selection, and perhaps a few tears of emotion or laughter while your photographer and/or videographer captures the first images of this unforgettable day. The estate gradually transforms into the perfect setting you imagined.

Then comes the ceremony: whether symbolic under the trees, religious in a nearby church, or civil at the town hall, this emotion-filled moment will remain etched in everyone’s memory.
After the ceremony, it’s time to share the joy: throw natural confetti, give hugs and congratulate each other. Now is the perfect time to take group photos while everyone is still together. Next is the cocktail reception, where your guests will enjoy canapés and drinks while you take a romantic break for your couple photos.

Once the cocktail is over, it’s time for dinner. The setting will be carefully chosen according to the weather and your preferences: you can have dinner outdoors under a starry sky or in the warm, authentic Écuries reception room. The wedding breakfast is punctuated by speeches, laughter, and delicious cuisine, and ends on a high note.

Then comes the first dance, which officially kicks off the evening. The dance floor opens, glasses clink, the atmosphere heats up and the party really gets started. Until the end of the night, you will enjoy yourselves to the full, surrounded by your loved ones.

Day 3 – Farewell Brunch and Relaxation

After the intensity and emotion of the wedding day, the wedding brunch (or Farewell brunch) is designed to extend the celebrations in a relaxed setting.

In the morning, everyone emerges at their own pace, still smiling and reminiscing about the previous day. This is the perfect time to come together for a gourmet brunch, barbecue, paella or pizza party, or even a food truck event. Some even opt for Tahitian-style pork, which is a great way to share more good time together.

Then it’s time to relax with a dip in the pool, a nap in the shade, outdoor games, pétanque or walks around the estate. This quiet time is invaluable for spending time with people you don’t see very often, reminiscing about the previous day’s highlights, unwinding after the hustle and bustle of the wedding, and saying goodbye to those who are leaving.

For those staying overnight, the day can be rounded off with shared pizzas, an aperitif in the garden, or an impromptu dinner. An evening without pressure, but full of warmth and friendship.
